PVC profiles, price rails, LED profiles and gaskets

A price rail, an LED lamp profile and a trim profile hold no glass and close no door, and yet they decide how the front of the shelving looks and how much cold escapes at its edges. We choose them for the height of the front, the length of the shelf and the colour of the other profiles of the cabinet. For every item we give the material, the colour and the commercial length, and over 40 items also cover thermal break profiles and other gaskets.

How to choose

A profile is chosen for its function: insulation, display or lighting

Thermal break profiles separate the cold and the warm side of the structure. Without them the metal conducts cold to the outside of the cabinet, which shows up as condensation on the casing and an energy bill higher than planned. It is a part nobody sees, and one that decides the efficiency of the whole unit.

Price rails and display profiles work on the front of the shelf. What counts in them is the height of the profile and whether they hold the label securely while the goods are being replenished – a rail from which the price falls out every time a pack is pushed in costs more staff time than it is worth.

LED lamp profiles guide the strip and protect it from moisture, and at the same time they direct the light onto the goods instead of into the customer's eyes. They are chosen for the width of the strip and for the way they are fixed in the cabinet.

This category also holds gaskets that do not belong to the magnetic family: silicone ones for heating appliances and brush seals that close moving gaps. Silicone withstands high temperature, a brush closes a gap through which something slides.
